Hi there, my real name obviously isn’t Spiderpudel, but I use that name for all my Lego related activities. The name Spiderpudel came into being partly becaus of spider pig from the Simpsons movie and partly because of my first stop motion clip:

I’ve always been fascinated by Lego, but being female and having spent the first 8 years of my life in the German Democratic Republic in a rather bourgois environment, I had no Lego as a child. So, actually, I started being an active AFOL (=Adult Fan of Lego) in 2009, when I started making brickfilms. You’ll find my “opus” so far on my Youtube channel.
Since then, I’ve done some short films. But I also came across the idea of creating my own Lego compatible pieces, of which I have had some printed by Shapeways. You can see photographs in my Shapeways folder on flickr. Then, in December 2011, I discovered Lego Cuusoo, where I have already created about 10 projects, but deleted 2 because there wasn’t much support for them.
I think that sums up all my activity concerning Lego. In this blog, I will present my work and thoughts about the works. Of course, it’s a bit of showing off, but I like writing and feedback once in a while keeps me going.
